Forsyth County JCPC issues Request for Proposals

The Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) has studied the risk factors and needs of Juvenile Court involved youth in this county and hereby publishes this Request for Proposals. The JCPC anticipates funds from the NC Dept. of Public Safety Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention in the amount of $940,852 to fund the programs which will serve delinquent and at-risk youth for the state fiscal year 2026-2027 beginning on, or after, July 1, 2026. The use of these funds in this county requires a local match.

Interested applicants are strongly encouraged to attend the Forsyth County JCPC Information Session on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. The meeting will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams. This meeting is mandatory for new programs who are interested in applying for funds. The session will review the purpose and intent of JCPC funds, the Request for Proposals, the application process and timeline, as well as answer questions from potential applicants. An application is required to be completed and submitted for consideration, and the deadline to submit the application is by 12:00pm on Monday, January 26, 2026. Proposals submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
