February Detention Staff Member of the Month

Sergeant B. Serrano has been selected as the Detention Staff Member of the Month in recognition of his outstanding leadership and dedication during the recent winter storm that resulted in a two-week closure of Forsyth Technical Community College. During this time, Sgt. Serrano worked closely with the college to ensure the continuation of the Detention Officer Certification Course (DOCC), preventing students from falling behind in their required training hours. His proactive coordination, responsiveness, and commitment to maintaining instructional continuity exemplify professionalism and reinforce the strong partnership between our agency and the college. Sgt. Serrano’s efforts directly supported the success of both the students and the program during a challenging circumstance.
