Synopsis and Discussion

Light winds and warm temperatures are allowing particle pollution to remain elevated and code YELLOW, Sunday. Ozone is lower, staying in the upper code GREEN range. Monday's weather will be very similar, to Sunday's conditions, with warm temperatures and partly sunny skies. With the return of workweek traffic, ozone looks to climb back to code YELLOW, along with particle pollution. Unsettled weather will begin to move into area, Tuesday and Wednesday, as a frontal zone sits to the west of the state. Additional clouds and the chance of a few showers will help to lower ozone levels back to code GREEN, Tuesday and Wednesday. Although, the precipitation will not be enough to keep particle pollution from remaining code YELLOW both days (GENTRY).
